Introducing Ms. Tessie Cuy

Tessie Cuy is the founder and president of the EmeryNet Wealth Discussion Group. After a successful career as a high tech recruiter, Tessie became a mortgage broker, and changed her EmeryNet Job Seekers Group to the Wealth Discussion Group to educate the community about different loan programs catering to investors and first time homebuyers.

Tessie Cuy was a recruiter in the high tech industry from 1990 until 2002, starting out in biotech/ pharmaceutical contingency recruitment for a well-known nationwide executive search firm, where she won two national Top in Production awards. In 1993, she founded her own firm, Tech Search International, and worked onsite as corporate technical recruiter for biotech corporations.

Prior to recruiting, Tessie gained three years experience as a TRW/ Experian credit supervisor, and more than ten years as Commercial Credit Manager.

She has undergraduate and master's degrees in Chemistry, graduating Cum Laude.

Tessie's involvement in the community included being a co-president of East Bay Women in Science 1996-97 and fundraising for the Emeryville School District in Emeryville, CA. In 1997, she was named a "Woman of Achievement" by the Emeryville Business and Professional Women’s Association.

Being fond of children, and desiring to help grow them into happy, productive, and self-confident adults, Tessie developed the Children's Ballroom Dance program at Allegro Ballroom in Emeryville in 2002. Tessie serves on Allegro's Board of Directors.
